Five national level leisure villas are available in Chenzhou city now

It was learned from Suxian Agriculture Bureau that Shenzhen Youyi Investment Holdings Ltd. visited Chenzhou city recently to check the manorial economy there. The company was attracted here with learning of the favorable manorial economy policies issued by Chenzhou city. An investment proposal was reached between the company and Yajiang village, Qiaokou town , Suxian district after the company’s investigation trip. It was introduced that more than 100million yuan would be invested by the company to establish a 5-star modern villa in the village. Till now, there are five national level leisure villas available in Chenzhou city.

In 2013, “comments on rapid promotion of modern manorial economy”(short for “the comments”) was issued by Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government. As required by “the comments”, series high level modern agriculture villas should be established in Chenzhou city with the concept of overall development of urban and rural areas, upgrade of agricultural industry and increase farmers’ income. All the villas should be with their special subjects, production bases, processing industries, brands, exhibition, and culture. It aimed to develop 0.5million mu production base to activate over 0.2million farmers’ families to join in this industry and help to increase the farmers’ income with a rate of over 20%. 

Followed with the requirements to develop urban agriculture and leisure viewing agriculture in the villages, a batch of characteristic industrial belts such as Chen-Gui-Jia modern tobacco agricultural belt, Linwu duck industrial belt, Yongxing sweet orange industrial belt, and Rucheng and Guidong ecological agricultural belt were developed in Chenzhou city with high standard. At the meantime, farmers’ professional cooperatives were cultivated to improve the professionalization of agriculture service. Till now, 1353 farmers’ professional cooperatives have been established in Chenzhou city, covering all the fields of agricultural economy and providing sound foundation for further development of modern manorial economy.

With over one year’s efforts, besides the five national level leisure villas, there were 55 Hunan provincial 3-star and above level ecological villas and 2 national demonstration areas of leisure agriculture and village tourism available in Chenzhou city. Guiyang county was awarded as the national demonstration county of leisure agriculture and village tourism.
