Preview of upgraded version of Chenzhou city’s planning

“2009 Chenzhou city’s master plan” has been implemented for 5 years till now. Chenzhou city is under a new round of great development recently. So a modification proposal for 2009’s master plan is necessary for Chenzhou city. Are there any new highlights available for the new modification version of master plan? Some hot issues as crowded condition for Chenzhou West Station of high speed train can be improved by this version? Let’s see following points:

Urban central area: two roads encircling the city would be constructed

Concerned for the improvement of comprehensive transportation system, two roads encircling the city would be constructed in Chenzhou city. Inner one’s route is “Zaoxiang road- Tangxi Avenue- Chenzhou Avenue- Huaiwan road- G107 national road” and the exterior one is “Guixin expressway- Chenyong Avenue- Tangxi Avenue- second level tourism road of Wugaishan Moutain- Xiarong expressway- airport expressway”. Two main roads of east-west direction would be constructed in Chenzhou city as well. Renmin east road would be expanded to Baishuizutuan and Xiangshui east road would be expanded to south Hunan garden and Baishuizutuan. Furthermore, a new road named Fuquan avenue would be launched from G107 national road to Huaiwan road to ease the traffic pressure of Chenzhou Avenue.

Public service facility: Beihu Market and some other professional markets would be relocated to new places

Some adjustments were figured out for some public service facilities, such as rehabilitation hospital would be constructed in Longnv Hot Spring area to adjust the layout of hospitals in both east and west areas of Chenzhou urban city; “four centers and one hall” project would be launched in Baishuizutuan to promote Chenzhou city’s improvement of strong cultural city; Gaobi, Wanhuayan, Huaishuxia and some other professional markets would be constructed to accelerate Chenzhou city’s development of modern service industry; Beihu, Majiaping, Luojiajing, Wuling and some other professional markets would be relocated to exterior area of Chenzhou central urban area to upgrade people’s living condition; and some more endowment facilities would be increased to assist the improvement of social pension industry.

Chenzhou West Station: expansion work would be handled out for this station and more parking vacancies would be facilitated to the station

Currently, some problems as small station building, disordered transportation, insufficient parking vacancies, and etc. were available in Chenzhou West Station. Two solutions were figured out to solve the problems and upgrade the station’s service capacity accordingly. Waiting area would be expanded firstly to increase the seats from 800 to 3000 ones. A social vehicle parking slot would be constructed to increase the parking vacancies to 1500 more ones. Passenger flows for entrance and exit would be separated to ease the disordered condition of the station. An entrance subway channel would be facilitated there as well.

Sports base: 10mu greening land would be improved there

Chenzhou Sports Training Base where was located in Beihu district was famous nationwide for Chinese Women Volleyball Team. According to the expansion plan for the base, a 10-mu big greening land would be facilitated there. It planned to build a Chinese Women Volleyball Team museum and cultural square and an opening activity center there. It was purposely to be constructed as a exhibition center for Chinese Women Volleyball Team’s culture and spirit and a demonstration center for pop fitness.
