It was learned from Chenzhou Economy and Information Commission that Chenzhou city’s growth rate on scale industry was 12.5% in first 4 months of 2014, ranking the third place of Hunan province.

Generally speaking, in April, the total industrial output value of the selected 56 key scheduling enterprises hit 4.625billion yuan with an increase of 3.78% and the accumulative total amount was 19.002billion yuan with an increase of 3.69%. 38 of the selected 56 ones kept to increase on the accumulative value, covering 67.95 of the selected ones. All this information indicated that Chenzhou city’s industry and enterprises were ran well in 2014.

From this January to April, the total electricity consumption of industrial enterprises was 2.51billion KWh, up 8.6%. The price of non-ferrous metal rose again. Price for non-ferrous metal mining and separation industry and non-ferrous metal smelting and processing industry were up 1.42% and 2.11% respectively. All these information indicated that Chenzhou city’s industrial economy was kept a stable and increasing statue in 2014.

Concerned for the different sectors, electronic information industry, non-ferrous industry and construction material industry were the ones with fastest improvement. From January to April, the average increase for the 7 key electronic information enterprises of Chenzhou city was 30.4% and the average increase for the 23 non-ferrous metals enterprises was 11.7%. Compared with March, the growth rate for Baoshan Non-Ferrous Metal was 69.7%, Yunxiang Mining and Metallurgy was 53.8% and Xiongfeng Rare Precious Metal was 47.8%. The average increase for 5 construction materials enterprises was 22.0%. Jinlei Nanfang, Huaxin Concrete and Liangtian Concrete were with the growth rate of 11.9%, 19.0% and 93.1% respectively. The total output value for Chenzhou Cigarette Factory of China Tobacco Corporation hit 408million yuan with an increase of 28.9%.
