Ms. Song said to the reporters that the taxi arrived at her starting place 2-3 minutes after she called the taxi company. The starting fare was 5yuan, so total cost for her journey was 7-8yuan. This suitable price level was very convenient for her.

It was introduced that all the 100 taxies were green, low carbon, energy saving and hybrid power automobile. Compared with petroleum and diesel powered cars, this fuel oil and gas powered taxies were friendlier to environment and more economical. Just 80 cubic meters gas can drive for over 200kms, which would be greatly helpful to save the operation cost. Currently, the starting fare for this taxi is 5yuan for first 2kms and then 0.9yuan more for every extra 0.5km.
