It was learned from Rucheng Water Conservancy Bureau that over 30million yuan would be placed on a large-scale comprehensive water supply project which was the largest across-town II-type water supply project for its drinking water safety project of village.

It was introduced that it was an implementation project for the integration of water supply in urban and rural areas in Rucheng county. This project would be settled in Daping town which would cover 26 administrative villages, 3 schools, 2 townships, and one industrial park of four towns. Over 30.85million yuan would be placed on the construction of water intake project, water conveyance project, water purification project and water distribution project. 65,900 people would benefit from this project, especially the 52,154 people who suffered from the unsafe drinking water problem.

Currently, the preparation work for this project has been done and would be proceeded to the implementation step. Once finished, it would be helpful to play the roles in water supply, flood control, drought control, and etc.
