Recently, a notice of “2014 first half year’s adjustment on lines in operation” was issued by Nanchang Railways Bureau. According to the notice, Hengchaji railway would be opened to the public on this June 30 for both passenger and cargo transportation. Some of the trains would stop in Anren county. 10 pairs of trains, including 6 pairs of passenger transportation trains and 3-4 pairs of cargo transportation trains would be operated every day for this line.

Hengchaji railway was started from Hengyang Railway Station of Hunan province to Ji’an Railway Station of Jiangxi province. Anren, Youxian, Chaling, Yanling, Lianhua and Jinggangshan were the stops along this new railway. This 291kms long line was designed with 160km/hour, reserving for 200km/hour. In order to ensure the line to be opened to public on time, Anren county paid great attention on scheduling and supervision work. Till now, all preparation work has been done.

Once opened to public, Hengchaji railway would efficiently work together with Jingguang railway, Jingjiu railway, Xianggui railway and Xianggui high speed railway to play its active role on improving Anren county’s social and economic development. That is the first railway passes by Anren county.
