Xiang Lili visited Shanghai Philips (China) Investment Co., Ltd.

Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee talked with Liang Hanfeng- CEO of Greater China of Philips Lighting

“We reached a sound development of investment in Chenzhou city”, “sincerely hope more cooperation will be achieved between Philips and Chenzhou city”, saying by Liang Hanfeng- CEO of Greater China of Philips Lighting and Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee on their meeting in Shanghai Philips (China) Investment Co., Ltd. on July 17, 2014.

In 2013, Chenzhou government signed the LED strategic cooperation framework and investment agreement with Shanghai Philips (China) Investment Co., Ltd.- one of the world’s top 500 enterprises. Two cooperation agreements on Philips- Chendian Technology south China joint production base and distributor cooperation were signed by Philips and Chendian Technology. The details for LED lighting project included the establishment of south China joint production platform of Philips LED lightings, and construction of Philips- Chendian Technology south China joint production base in Chenzhou Export Processing Zone (Chenzhou High-tech Industrial Park) by Chenzhou Chendian Technology Co., Ltd.- the undertaker party of this project which would handle the LED products production. At the meantime, energy saving issues of the street lighting were discussed by Philips and Chenzhou city together. With the great supports of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government, Philips projects were handled out well with sound development condition and was about to be placed to production soon.

Xiang Lili stated that more favorable policies were issued by Chenzhou city to ensure the project to be handled out fluently. More concerns were placed by high-level government of Hunan province. Xiang expressed his willing to place the project to production at the soonest time to facilitate Chenzhou city with the LED products produced by itself. More attention should be placed on the expansion of marketing and propaganda to introduce Chenzhou’s Philips products to Hunan, China even the world. Xiang also hoped that more enhanced cooperation can be reached between Philips and Chenzhou city with better communication and more investment.

Liang Hanfeng appreciated all the supports placed by Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government to promote its projects invested in Chenzhou city. Liang confirmed that Philips would follow the agreements to handled the projects construction and ensure it to be finished sooner. He also expressed his willing for further cooperation with Chenzhou city in future.
