It was learned from Chenzhou Housing Bureau that till the end of this June, the total revenue of construction enterprises hit 6.94billion yuan with an increase of 29% and added value was amounted to 2.29billion yuan with an increase of 29.7%. The total revenue for the projects handled in other province was 1.69billion yuan, covering 24.4% of the total amount with an increase of 490.9%. 6.78billion yuan new contracts were signed in the first half year of 2014, up 21.6% and 295million yuan tax payment were paid, covering 9.6% of the total amount of Chenzhou city.

Though suffered with some difficulties as high cost of projects, bad influence of macro-control policies, all departments of Chenzhou city well cooperated with each other to promote the infrastructure projects construction and enhance the construction market management, and successfully upgraded the construction industry with better operation condition. According to the plan, 227 projects with annual investment of 19.6billion yuan should be implemented in central urban area of Chenzhou city. Till June 30, 2014, 8.22billion yuan had been fulfilled, covering 41.9% of the total with an increase of 5%. 14 projects such as greening project of 107 national road surrounded Chenzhou city, infrastructure construction for sanitation, 110KV transformer substation of west city, heavy metal pollution renovation for Chenjiang river, and etc. have been finished or have completed the annual investment plan. 80% of 12 projects as replacement and expansion of water supply network, displacement and resettlement of Xiatongziping, Boliping road, and etc. have been finished as well, which were expected to be fully finished in this August.

Concerned for the small town construction, 30 ones with over 2.09billion yuan investment were listed in the demonstration towns’assessment plan of 2014. Till June 26, 2014, 920million yuan has been completed, covering 44% of the total. 49.7kms of the 75kms annual plan for water supply network construction have been worked out, covering 66% of the total. 44.8kms of the 83kms annual plan for sewage pipe network construction (renovation) or dredging work have been finished, covering 54% of the total. The assessment index for renovation of rural dangerous houses was 8700 families. All identification work of the counties and districts were finished. Some counties as Anren county, Rucheng county and etc. have started the renovation work. 2785 ones of the all were launched, covering 32% of the total.

In order to improve the infrastructure construction, Chenzhou city would seize the chance on promotion of new urbanization and small town construction on the basis of its practical condition in next stage; would keep closer communication with the departments of other markets to handle better propaganda work; would figure out more policies to support the construction industry’s improvement; and would keep perfecting the credit management system to regulate the administration of construction enterprises from other places.
