It was reported that Xiao Yayu- Member of the Party Group of Hunan Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee led an investigation team to visit Chenzhou city and check its work on "double-ten project" of Chenzhou city's cultural project construction. Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee accompanied Xiao with this investigation.

Though the weather was very hot in Chenzhou on that day, Xiao and the members of the investigation team still went to some projects construction sites to check the work personally. They visited the reconstruction project of Yuhou cultural street, the upgrading project of "Hunan Kunqu opera hall", and some other sites to learn more details of them.

"Notice for issuing the implementation solution for 'double-ten project' of Chenzhou city's cultural project construction" was released by Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government in 2013. It was required that Chenzhou city should focus on the target of establishing "strong cultural city" and building international and modern new Chenzhou city to fulfill ten symbolized cultural projects and ten excellent cultural tourism projects( short for double-ten project).

The upgrading of "Hunan Kunqu opera hall" which was covered with over 26million yuan investment was launched in last April. Now, the main body of this project has been finished and was on the process of the supporting accessories construction. It was estimated to be finished in this October. After listening to the working reports of that project, Xiao stated that Kunqu opera was the national treasure, so the project should be accelerated and completed sooner to play its special cultural functions.
