It was learned from Rucheng county that in order to fully implement the spirit of “the state’s planning of new urbanization (2014-2020)”, Rucheng Housing Bureau placed great efforts on implementing the “eight-one” project to comprehensively promote the upgrading of new urbanization.

In recent three years, Rucheng county planned to place 300million yuan on the construction of 3 municipal level demonstration towns and 4 county level demonstration towns by handling “eight-one” project- one beautiful street of town, one garden style leisure square, one multiple functions culture and sports center, one apartment style old people’s home, one green new rural village, one regulated farmers’ market, one harmless refuse disposal plant, and one standard sewage treatment plant. It was purposely to establish the new style small town with the functions of living, business and tourism.

From 2013, 110million yuan has been placed by Rucheng county on the upgrading and public infrastructure construction of four county level demonstration towns of Jiyi, Yongfeng, Nandong and Lingxiu. General planning for 4 towns and villages have been finished there. Furthermore, it reached good results on the greening work and renovation of urban and rural environment.
