It was reported that a wind power project which was invested by Huaneng Group was launched recently in Qiuli village of Guidong county. It was the first wind power project of Guidong county.

This project which was covered with 720million yuan investment, planned installed gross capacity of 84,000KW, and draught fans of 40pcs was located in Qiaotou town, Hankou town and Oujiang town of Guidong county. It would be carried out by 2phases. Hankou wind power plant was the first phase with planned installed gross capacity of 48,000KW, and Huangnihu wind power plant was the second phase with planned installed gross capacity of 36,000KW. This project was listed as 2014 key project of Chenzhou city and Guidong county.

The launching of Huaneng Hunan Guidong wind power project indicated Guidong county promoted a further step for the implementation of sustainable development strategy and restructuring of industries. Not only help to develop Guidong county’s wind power resources, improve its structure of energies and enhance the main support place of its electricity industry, the project would also help to improve the transformation and upgrading of Guidong county’s industry and promote its new energy industry and ecological industry to be proceed to a new development stage.
