When reporters arrived at the greening park of Gaojian village, Yangmeishan town in the evening of this August 28, some women were dancing and groups of children were playing there. A harmonious image was present at the reporters’ eyes.

“Thanks to the park, villagers have a new place to enjoy their free time.” said Zeng Jiancao- the Director of Village Committee of Gaojian village.

Gaojian village was enrolled into the greening demonstration villages list of Chenzhou city in 2014. The village paid great attention on establishing the greening demonstration village successfully. A special construction leading group was headed with the secretary of the village’s party committee. After collecting the villagers’ comments, the village decided to establish a greening park in the center of the village which was purposely to improve local villagers’production and living condition. In order to promote the park’s construction work, scientific construction solution and specified responsibility system were figured accordingly. At the meantime, the village handled out different methods to collect more capitals to promote the construction work. With their efforts, over 200,000yuan were collected to support the construction work.

The 800squaremeters greening park has been completed with the 200,000yuan investment. Some accessories as street lamps were set there and over 3000 trees and flowers were planted there. The task for the construction of municipal greening demonstration village was well fulfilled by the village. Concerned for the management of the park, special management and protection mechanism was established accordingly. Some workers were hired to manage and protect the park and ensure the park to be kept clean and beautiful.
