It was learned from Chenzhou Technology Bureau that after the procedures as submission, recommendation, qualification examination, expert review, investigation, and publicity, Xiangnneng Hualei Photoelectricity Semiconductor Lighting Technological Innovation & Entrepreneur Team was enrolled into the first batch of “Hunan Province Enterprise Technological Innovation & Entrepreneur Team”support plan. Total 10 teams were listed on the plan.

Xiangneng Hualei Photoelectricity Co., Ltd. is the exclusive enterprise of Hunan province on operating the production and marketing of LED epitaxy, chip device, sealing, and relative application products. It was rewarded as Hunan provincial high-tech enterprise in 2009 and was enrolled as one of the high-tech enterprises of the Torch Project handled by the State’s Ministry of Science and Technology in 2013. The company placed great attention on the introduction and cultivation of talents and actively rewarded the technology research and development staffs. It combined interior and exterior technology communication together.

Currently, there are 10 core members for the innovation team of the company, including 4 doctoral candidates, 5 master degree candidates and 1 undergraduate. The team undertook series projects as national 863 plan, torch plan, electronic information funds of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, key new product plan, Hunan provincial and Chenzhou municipal technology plans, and etc. In current 3 years, the team was honored with the first prize of Chenzhou municipal award for scientific and technological advancement, the third prize of Hunan provincial patent award, and etc. 88 patents were submitted by the team, 23 of which were authorized patents. The company was enrolled into key reserve listing companies of Hunan province, top 100 enterprises of Hunan strategic new emerging industry, key enterprise of Hunan new urbanization, and etc. It took the forth place on the ranking list of China LED chip market competitiveness and was enrolled into top ten enterprises of China LED chip industry. The team worked hard to transfer the research results into productivity and helped the enterprise to gain 1.2billion yuan economic benefits and pay 360million yuan tax payment. Qi Yundong who is the principal of the team was honored with the title of Chenzhou “top ten technological innovation” talent.
