“We are looking to further development and marketing of Chenzhou city.” All the senior managers of 11 famous multinational corporations who investigated the investment condition of Chenzhou city on November 19, 2014 agreed consistently. During the period of second Xiangnan Investment Trade Fair, Hunan Government decided to handle a multinational corporations senior managers’ trip to south Hunan province. It was purposely to build a docking platform to popularize and propaganda Hunan province. Some activities as docking conference for introduction of Hunan province-circumstance and promotion of projects, investigation trip to some key industrial parks of Chenzhou city and investigation trip to some key industrial parks of Hengyang city were handled for this trip. 15 famous multinational corporations were invited to attend this trip, 9 of which were 2014 the Fortune 500 enterprises. Following 11 ones visited Chenzhou city: Samsung, Schneider National, Wal-Mart, Itochu Corp, Skyworth, Tesla, Marubeni, Ericsson, Sanofi , Ricoh, and OMRON.

The investigation team visited Chenzhou railway port, highway port, and some enterprises of Chenzhou high-tech Industrial Zone ( Chenzhou Export-processing Zone) during their trip to Chenzhou city. “It was the first time to visit Chenzhou city. It is a forest city with good environment condition. “Chenzhou city’s Wal-Mart retail store ranks the third place among 12 stores of Hunan province and 70 place among all the 400 stores of China, which highly indicated that Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government provided sound development condition for business on the process of reform and innovation.” said Hong Zhonghua- Chief Director of Government Affairs of Wal-Mart (China) Investment Co., Ltd. which ranked the first place of 2014 the Fortune 500 enterprises. Hong also stated that Wal-Mart was confident about the further development in Chenzhou city and confirmed to open some more stores in Chenzhou city in near future. He hoped that Chenzhou city can help to recommend some good selections for them to settle the new stores down there.
