It was learned from Chenzhou Development and Reform Commission that 7 wind power plants were finished and connected to the grid in 2014. Till the end of 2015, the number would be increased to 16 with the annual energy output of 700million kilowatt hours.

It was introduced that 221 fans which was 101 more than 2013 have been listed in Chenzhou city with the installed capacity of 406,300 kilowatts; 198 fans which was 81more than 2013 were connected to the grid with the installed capacity of 360,300kilowatts. Concerned for the 10 wind power plants which have been connected to the grid, Yangtian lake of Beihu district, Luhejin, Sanshiliuwan, Qiaoshi (Shuiyuan), Tiantangshan, Lanqiaoguanli and Dafeng have been fully finished and connected to the grid. Shanshiliuwan wind power plant generated 93.57million kilowatt hours with the effective utilization time of 1949hours, which is one of the best operated wind power plants among all.

Currently, there are 9 wind power plants are still under construction with the total installed scale of 460,300kilowatts. Guiyang Laixi (the second phase of Shuiyuan), Linwu Guangyi, Linwu Dongshan and Yizhang Taipingli are being proceed to the installation of fans. The roads led to Rucheng Baiyunxian wind power plant have almost been finished and its booster station platform have been placed to operation that 14 fan platforms have been finished. The roads led to Rucheng Donggangling wind power plant have almost been finished, its booster station platform and 25 fan platforms have been placed to operation, and the workshop of booster station was being under construction. Guidong Hankou and Guidong Huangnihu wind power plants were being proceed to the construction of engine bases.
