2015 “HK week” would be held in HK from May 31- June 3, 2015. In the afternoon of May 31, 2015, Yi Pengfei- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee led a delegation to attend relative investigation attraction and negotiation activities of the week.

“HK week” was sponsored by Hunan Government and undertaken by Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce. Focused on the themes of “placing more funds in Hunan province”, “settling down more enterprises in Hunan province”, and“introducing more Hunan products into HK”, some high level communication, joint of special subjects, investigation, investigation, and etc. were handled out there. It further helped to upgrade Hunan province’s influence in HK and abroad and expand the cooperation between Hunan province and HK. 

During“HK week”, Chenzhou delegation would try to reach more cooperation with HK. It would investigate HK Wholesale Chamber of Commerce of Import Vegetables, HK Shanghai Industrial Investment (Holdings) Co., Ltd., China Water, China Resources, and would visit Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong, Federation of Hong Kong Industries, Hong Kong Productivity Council, and etc. Furthermore, Chenzhou city would hold a tourism promotion conference in HK to introduce Chenzhou tourism resources to HK tourism investors, travel agents and media.

It was learned from Chenzhou Commerce Bureau that there are 95 HK-invested enterprises available in Chenzhou city with a total investment of $1.8 billion. The total assets are accumulated to 13.8billion yuan and total number of employments is over 20,000. They got involved into electronics manufacturing, production and supply of electricity and fuel gas, non-ferrous metals processing and manufacturing, manufacturing of garments and shoes, road transportation, tourism, hotels and some other service industries. The most representative enterprises are China Resources Power, China Resources New Energy, Brown Elevator, Grand Smart Technologies, Dongjia Electronics, Hongjin Wholesale of Subsidiary Agricultural Products, Yangtao Chemical, and etc.
