It was reported that the analysis meeting for economic situation of first half year was held by Chenzhou Economy and Information Committee recently. It mainly debriefed the operational situation of Chenzhou city’s industrial economy, analyzed the current situation and dispatched the key tasks for next stage.

From January to May, the added value of industries above a designed scale was up 7.2%, ranking the 5th place of Hunan province; the added value of the manufacturing industry above a designed scale was up 10%; added value of industries above a designed scale in the industrial parks was amounted to 25.58billion yuan, up 9.8%, accounting for 71.7% of the total amount of Chenzhou city; and the added value of the non-public ownership industries above a designate scale was up 7.6% which was 13.5% higher than Hunan average level. Though all above indicated some new operation highlights as industrial structure was kept being optimized, the industrial parks’ economy was being improved rapidly, the projects construction was being accelerated, and non-public economy contributed more to the society, it also indicated some problems as drop of increase, poor driving force of new increase point, more shut-down enterprises, lacking strength for some coupling indexes, and etc.

It was considered by the meeting that though the industry economy of Chenzhou city bared high pressure in the first half year of 2015, it is still with high potentiality and the enterprises are still confident. In next stage, the awareness of crisis and responsibility should be enhanced; spirit of service and practical working style should be carried forward; the spirit indicated on the file as “implementation comments on enhancing the support for industrial enterprises”should be well implemented ; some key industrial projects should be promoted, especially for the promotion of industrial projects battle and “1555” working plan; new service concepts and methods should be innovated; and more efforts should be placed on the studies and promotion of gem industry, deepening processing industries for non-ferrous metals as tungsten, bismuth, and etc. to cultivate more new increase points for industrial economy of Chenzhou city based on its practical condition.
