It was learned from Chenzhou Science and Technology Bureau that there are 67 high-tech enterprises available in Chenzhou city now. 8 of them are Hunan provincial innovative pilot enterprises, and 15 of them as Gospel, Yuxiang, Jinwang, and etc. are approved as national high-tech enterprise.

Chenzhou sci-tech departments enhanced the industrial technology innovation strategic alliance between colleges and rare metal industries and built the cooperation platforms between them. It also organized some professors of Xiangnan University and some enterprises as Yuteng Non-ferrous, Jingui Silver, and etc. to hold the seminar of “key technology of matte residue”. At the meantime, it organized Botai Graphite to negotiate with Material Institutions of Tsinghua University on common character and key technologies breakthrough of the purification and application of amorphous graphite and helped them to sign the cooperation contract. Furthermore, it invited many experts from Chinese Academy of Science to handle the projects docking work with some enterprises of Chenzhou city. Currently, Zixing Environment Protection Bureau has carried out the technological cooperation with Changsha Agricultural Ecology Research Institute, and Fengyue Environment Protection and Guangzhou Earth Chemical Research Institute has reached the cooperation intention on technologies. Ya’ou Water Resource Research Institute Center Chenzhou Branch has been placed to operation.

All Chenzhou municipal level technology plans were followed the industrial development policies figured out by Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government to pay closer supports on the industrial innovation chains, especially on LED, rare metals, graphite and some other industrial clusters. 254 sci-tech projects were accepted by Chenzhou city, 27 of which were industry-university-research cooperation projects and 86 of which were key projects. Shizuyuan “researches and demonstrations on high-efficient development of key technologies for multiple metals base resources” project has been enrolled into national technological support plan and obtained about 10million yuan supports. This project would reach the target of non-poisonous emission of “three wastes” of the mines and it was estimated to be with the comprehensive economic profits of 500million yuan per year. Hunan provincial high-tech significant special project-“key tech research and industrialization on mechanized production of rice and oil in southern hilly areas” which was participated by Nongfu Electricals has been approved by Hunan province and was estimated to obtain 6million yuan funds. “Purification of amorphous graphite”project of Chenzhou Botai Superfine Graphite Co., Ltd., “development and industrialization of high photosynthetic efficiency LED glass lamps” project of Hunan Huate Photoelectricity, and some other projects were granted with Chenzhou municipal sci-tech projects funds.
