When reporters arrived at Yang Kaihua’s demonstration garden of green development in Anren county, many visitors were picking up navel oranges there. It was introduced that Yang Kaihua who is from Shandong province is one of the “green development leading people” of Anren county now.

Yang Kaihua closed his computer business in Shandong province and came to Pingshan village, Anren county ten years ago. Thanks to the fertile soil and sound geographical advantages, Yang Kaihua placed over 20million yuan to develop more than 5000mu high quality navel oranges successfully.

In order to share the profits with local people, Yang Kaihua established a professional cooperative there, which helped 218 farmers to increase their incomes. “Xianglu naval orange” which is also produced in the cooperative was certified as green food by the State Agriculture Ministry and awarded with the golden price in Central China International Agriculture Expo. Now this brand was well received by Beijing, Shanghai, Shandong, and other markets.
