It was reported that the open selection conference of 2016 key villages of central finance irrigation works was held in Linwu county on November 16,2015. 30 village secretaries of Linwu county tried their best to fight for getting small-scale irrigation works.

In order to consolidate the results of small-scale irrigation works, Linwu county figured out their plan for public selection of 2016 works. The judges of the selection conference would give the score to all villages after reviewing their "construction solution" and listening the secretaries' speeches. Final list of the works would be confirmed by the score.

On the confer nice, all village secretaries delivered their speeches concerned for village's practical condition, feasibility and necessity of the construction of small-scale irrigation works, construction solution, administration after construction, and etc. 7 water conservancy experts invited by Linwu Water Conservancy Department were as the judges of the conference. According to the fair score graded by the experts, Shanshu village of Nanqiang town ranked the first place among all.
