It was learned from Zixing Development and Reform Bureau that a strategic cooperation agreement was reached among Zixing Government, China International Economic Cooperation Development Bureau and Zhonghe Agricultural Co., Ltd. According to the agreement, the three parties will work together on “Zhongxin Agricultural Industrial Park”.

It was introduced that “five bases, one supporting, and one center” – scientific research base, planting grasses base, breeding base of beef, high quality fruit base and characteristic agriculture base; supporting facility with the functions of butcher processing, feed processing, organic fertilizer processing, warehousing, and cold-chain logistics;a research center- were covered in the project. It is a modern circulation husbandry demonstration park with the features and functions of modernization, large-scale, scientific & research, demonstration and training. The total planned investment was amounted to 10 billion yuan.

The cooperation experts delegation of “Zhongxin Agricultural Industrial Park” visited Zixing city in this September and investigated Lvchengkang vegetable base of Qili town, mandarin orange production and primary processing base of Qingjiang, modern agricultural demonstration park of Shuangxi, and Dada Cold-chain Logistics. All the experts considered that Zixing city is suitable for the development of “Zhongxin Agricultural Industrial Park” project for its sound environment, air condition, excellent Dongjiang Lake water resource, fertilized soil and good plantation, sufficient rain and sunshine, and etc. “Zhongxin Agricultural Industrial Park” project would place over one billion yuan on the cooperation on research & study, production, processing, cold-chain, and logistics of high quality fruits, ecological and leisure agriculture and old-age tourism on the basis of Zixing practical condition.
