It was learned from Rucheng Housing Bureau that the first phase (Chengxi street-Zhongda street-Xingnong street pipeline) of the upgrading of urban water supply pipelines has been almost done. It is about 1.5kms long and covered with 3.2million yuan investment in total. Rucheng planned to place 49.23million yuan on this project.

Some of the pipelines of the old urban area of Rucheng county were paved in 1980s’. Due to the serious aging situation, the old pipelines were with large leakage which caused unstable water pressure; and some were even badly corroded which would cause secondary pollution of water. In order to ensure the good quality of water supply, Rucheng county launched the reconstruction of pipelines in this April. The total 49.23million yuan planned investment would be mainly collected by the company or obtained from central government. 23 pipelines of 39kms were covered into the plan which was about 2-year duration (2015-2016). All the new pipelines are nodular cast iron pipes and straight seam rolled plate steel pipes with the diameter of DN300-600.

The first phase is for the reconstruction of Chengxi street- Zhongda street-Xingnong street pipelines which are about 1.5kms long and covered with 3.2million yuan investment. Thanks for the upgrading, the water supply quality, condition and reliability for Xijie, Xinjin, and Jinjiang were improved greatly. The company would handle the reconstruction of 2kms long pipelines of Luyang Avenue in next stage. Now it is being proceeded to the preparation step.
