When reporters arrived on the construction site of Haoxia Water Reservoir of Chujiang town of Linwu County, Huang Guoqiang- Secretary of Village Party Branch was leading the villagers to handle the construction work there. In this winter, many water conservancy projects were being promoted in the county.

Linwu county improved water conservancy projects as one of the key measures for accurate poverty alleviation, balance allocation of water conservancy public resources, and improvement of agricultural supporting and protection system in the winter. The county enhanced the leadership, placed more investment, and specified the tasks to carry out water conservancy construction in this winter. More than ten thousand party members and cadres were dispatched to the grassroots to organize the water conservancy work, which granted the county with a busy construction atmosphere.

It was introduced by one of the officials of Linwu Water Conservancy Bureau that it planned to finish 2880 water conservancy projects in this winter, covering 180million yuan investments. Till the end of this November, 85million yuan of it has been fulfilled, and the work for construction of more than 600 channels, consolidation of over 320 dams, and digging of 1.30million cubic meters earthwork have been finished as well, which helped to upgrade 1million water saving capacity and improve 12,000mu irrigation areas. Assisted with the help the supporting team and party members and cadres of the village, more than 3 million yuan investment was placed on diversion channel project of Lingbei Water Reservoir of Youma village, Nanqiang town. Currently, this 682-meter long channel was placed to operation, which helped to realize local people’s dream of being facilitated with water reservoir. It is really a good thing for local people.
