“12th five-year plan” was completed and “13th five-year plan” is going to be launched soon. On this critical stage of transformation development, a new wave for projects construction was being raised in Chenzhou city. A launching and completion ceremony of key (major) projects was held in Chenzhou city on December 25, 2015. Yi Pengfei- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City attended the ceremony and delivered addresses there.

The ceremony was for the launching and completion of 55 projects with total investments of 26.733billion yuan. 21 of them are from subordinate departments and “two zones and two parks, 14 of which with 11.237billion yuan (2.08billion yuan are planned to be finished in 2016) were launched on that day, and 7 of which were completed. 34 of them are from counties and districts, 19 of which with 5.925billion yuan (1.905billion yuan are planned to be finished in 2016) were launched on that day, and 15 of which were completed.

On the ceremony which was held in Chenzhou Xi Station, Yi Pengfei announced the launching of expansion of Chenzhou Xi Station, Chenzhou Outlet, extension of Renmin East Road, reconstruction of shantytown of Xiamei bridge, and etc., and the completion of removal of Chenzhou Tobacco Redrying Factory, and etc.

Concerned for the expansion of Chenzhou Xi Station, two new buildings will be built on the south and north side of current main building of the station. Once finished, the waiting areas would be expanded to 7300square meters with 3600 seats; 5 lanes would be facilitated in front of the station as dropping-off lanes and 4 lanes in the square of the station as picking-up lanes, which would be capable to divide the passenger flows of in and out; and the daily passenger flow would be upgraded to 28000person/time from 8000 person/time.

Yi stated that the projects construction is important carrier for the economic development, so the city can get the key point of economic development once it does good job on projects construction. From the beginning of 2015, Chenzhou city took active actions on easing the pressure of downstream of economy, kept following the strategy of “guiding by industry, overall development”, paid great attention on projects construction, and carried out “four-year action” powerfully, all of which greatly support the sustainable and sound development of economy and society.

Yi said besides some high-tech and sound market prospect industrial projects, there are also infrastructure and well-being projects for upgrading the city level, and social undertakings for long-term development available in these 55 projects. All those projects can not only place powerful driving force on industrial development, but also help to lay solid foundation for the sound opening of “13th five-year plan”.

Yi pointed out that the comprehensive opening and completion of key projects was the review of achievements of projects construction as well as the restarting of projects construction. All departments should well seize the chance to enhance the decision and confidence on projects construction, and improve it to be upgraded. All counties and districts should enhance their senses of responsibilities and urgency to well handle the construction work, increase the efficient investments, and provide powerful supports for stable and sustainable development.

Qu Hai attended the ceremony of Jingui Silver City, Feitian Mountain Tourism Culture Industrial Park, and etc., and announced the opening and completion of those projects and delivered addresses there.

Jingui Silver City is a comprehensive project of internet platform, production of silver crafts, silver industrial tourism, and etc. with 220million yuan investment. It is also with the features of cultural tourism, ecommerce operation, industrial production, and etc. Feitian Mountain Tourism Culture Industrial Park is located in borders of Feitianshan town, Xujiadong town, and Wulipai town, which is invested by Beijing Shunfeng Group. Its first phase (2016-2020) was planned to be covered with 2billion yuan, mainly on the development of tourism infrastructures, supporting facilities, sceneries, and etc.
