It was learned from Chenzhou Economy and Information Commission that the added value of above scale industry of Chenzhou city was with an increase of 7.2% in 2015, which was lower than last year. But the industrial aggregate kept increasing that its total added value of scale industry covered 10.5% of Hunan province, ranking 3rd place in Hunan province for 4th consecutive year. It was also the increasing for 5th consecutive year which was 2.9% higher than 2010. Chenzhou city became an important increasing role of Hunan province more prominently.

In recent years, under the great challenge of the downturn of macro economy, Chenzhou city took active actions to support the development of enterprises and keep the stable increase of industry. 98 new scale industry enterprises were set up in Chenzhou city in 2015 and its aggregate of scale industry was amounted to 300billion yuan. On the other hand, it kept guiding the enterprises to adapt to the market, change development model, and adjust industrial structure. Its strategic emerging industry was being improved well as well. From January to December of 2015, its equipment manufacturing, biological medical, electronic information, and other industry were with the increase of 13.5%, 71.7%, and 7.5% respectively, which was 6.3%, 64.5%, and 0.3% higher than the average rate of the scale industry of Chenzhou city. The proportion of added value of medicine & food, mechanical manufacturing, and electronic information was 0.93%, 1.69%, and 0.13% higher than last year, while non-ferrous and energy industry was 2.25% and 1.35% lower. The output value of new products was kept with rapid increasing rate of 92% which was 94.1% higher than last year.
