It was reported that an investigation team of Hunan Development and Reform Commission visited Chenzhou city on March 11, 2016 to check its development of modern logistics and characteristic town.

In that afternoon, the team went to Xiangnan International Logistics Park and visited Xingyi Logistics, Jinhuang Logistics, and some other companies. Afterward, they also held a symposium with the principals of some enterprises and departments. They learned the development condition, key features, and some problems of Chenzhou city’s logistics industry, and proposed some suggestions on improving the logistics industry in “13th five-year plan” and some suggestions on making up shortages and decreasing costs.

It was learned that the total technology and trade revenue of Xiangnan International Logistics Park was amounted to 10billion yuan in 2015, contributing 160million yuan tax payments. The total fixed assets investment was 3.53billion yuan and foreign trade and processing trade were USD392million. Relying on platform construction, it promoted the improvement of highway port, railway port, and sea-railway combined transportation and tried best to promote the establishment of full logistics industry chain and transformation development of the industrial park.
