On March 18, 2016, Rucheng county called the professional technicians of tourism, land & resources, planning, Nuanshui town, and etc. together to evaluate the comprehensive development planning of Nuanshui Luoquan Hot Spring, and figured out the detailed planning finally. It was introduced that the comprehensive development of Luoquan Hot Spring which is covered with over 500million yuan investments is one of the major projects for Rucheng county’s establishment of “hot spring city”.

Rucheng is with rich geothermal hot spring resources that many towns as Reshui, Nunanshui, Luyang, Tuqiao, and etc. are with abundant resources. According to the experts’ survey and evaluation, the geothermal hot spring resources are12, 000 cubic meters/ day available there. Currently, replying on the most famous high temperature radon hot spring- Reshui hot spring, Rucheng county developed series landscapes as Fuquan Villa, Guanxi Villa, Hot Spring Cultural Park, Hot Spring Square, and etc. It is with great potentiality on further development of hot spring.

Rucheng county worked out the protection and development plan for hot spring resources on the basis of its rich geothermal resources and presented the target of establishing “modern landscape hot spring city”. The Secretary of Rucheng County Party Committee and County Chief led the county to handle the establishment of “hot spring city of China” and issued series files as “implementation solution for protection and development of Rucheng county’s geothermal resources”, regulations for development of Reshui hot spring, and etc., on which highlighted the investment attraction, improvement of brand, projects development to implement the establishment of “hot spring city of China”.

The county paid great attention on investment attraction based on the development of hot spring. It held different investment attraction activities on Guangdong, Guangxi, Zhejiang, Fujian, and some other places, which helped to attract more than 10 large-scale enterprises to investigate the county and place investment there. According to the record, till now about 3billion-yuan investments have preliminarily settled on Chang’an Ecology City Tourism Industrial Park, and etc. Some other events related to the improvement of hot spring brand, such as seminar of geothermal hot spring, hot spring trip for new silk road model, contest of hot spring beauty, and etc. were handled out in the county. It also took active actions to submit the application of “hot spring county of China” and won the title firstly in Hunan province.
