“Zixing Economic Development Zone figured out the blueprint of ‘cultivating 100-billion-yuan industry, improving to be national level zone in 3 years’,” introduced by the official of Management Commission of the zone on March 10, 2016.

In order to improve its establishment of national development zone, Zixing Economic Development Zone will tried more efforts on upgrading of industry, especially the leapfrogging development of non-ferrous industry by improving non-ferrous metal industry, promoting the development Fengyue Environmental Protection, supporting Huaxin Precious Metals to be listed, and vitalizing Zhantai Non-ferrous Metals. Meanwhile, it will play the best role of Hunan provincial demonstration base of new materials to accelerate the development of Shanshan New Material Technology Park and place the second and third phase projects of it into operation, and try to establish the largest production base of li-ion batteries. It will also promote the development of some non-ferrous catalytic materials projects of Changhong, Fengyue, and Gaoxing and explore high-performance metallic materials, high-purity rare materials, photoelectricity semi-conductor materials, catalytic materials, and etc. to cultivate the new material industrial to be a guiding and mainstay industry of the zone. It will improve the docking between electronic information industry with big data industrial park to improve the supporting electronic products industry, especially the upgrading and expansion of some electronic enterprises and establishment of network and communications products industrial chain.

The advanced manufacturing of Zixing Economic Development Zone will actively dock with national “manufacturing 2015” strategy and try to form manufacturing industrial chain by driving with concentration area of advanced manufacturing, vitalizing and launching Qinglan high speed train and Zhejiang machinery project, introducing automobile and parts manufacturing enterprises, improving development of new energy autos and sightseeing electromobiles, and expanding some end items as Huagang Manufacturing, Guangxuan LED and LOW-E, Napo Power, and etc. The development of food processing industry will focus on series special products with Dongjiang Lake geographical indication as Dongjiang Lake water, fish, wine, tea, fruit, vegetable, and etc.; will follow the model of “company + base + farmer”; will improve the marketing system and safety control system of Dongjiang Lake foods; will highlight the development of green food, special food, functional food, safe food, and other projects; and will accelerate the integration of food and tourism industry to popularize “Dongjiang Lake” food brand.
