It was reported that conference for Hunan province’s development of grain industry & quality control was held in Chenzhou city on April 12, 2016. The grain work experience of Chenzhou city was promoted on the conference. It was also learned from the conference that Chenzhou Grain Bureau was awarded as 2015 Hunan provincial advanced unit of grain & oil industry statistic, advanced unit of Hunan grain and oil quality control, and etc.

In recent years, Chenzhou city tried great efforts on improving the development of “10-billion-yuan industry” project of grain and oil deep processing and logistics and promoting the industrialization of grain industry, which helped to gain great achievements on the industrialization of grain. A batch of grain and oil deep processing, technological improvement, and warehousing projects were handled out in Chenzhou city via attracting investments with industrial guidance, which helped to upgrade annual processing capacity of grain and oil for 412,600tons and facilitate 1000 suits of rice milling machines there. The technological capacity of grain and oil processing was greatly improved that the processing volume of grain and oil was amounted to 1.45million tons in 2015, accounting to 9.05billion yuan output value and 600million yuan profits and tax payments. In recent 4 years, over 21million yuan was placed by some leading enterprises of agricultural (grain and oil) industrialization. They adopted the mode of company+ base+ farmer to improve contracted grain production and construction of 6-million-mu grain base, which helped to purchase 1.02million tons grains according to contracts and increase over 580million yuan income to local grain farmers.

2015 grain industry development of Hunan province was summarized on the conference, while the grain industry development and quality control work of 2016 was deployed accordingly there. The attendees discussed the industrial development plan for “13th five-year plan” and shared their ideas on the transformation development of grain industry. Yuxiang Food, Shengping Rice Industry, and Chenzhou Grain Machine Company which were from Chenzhou city were promoted on the conference as typical cases.

Shi Shaolong- Member of Party Group and Deputy Director of Hunan Grain Bureau attended the conference and delivered a speech there.
