Qu Hai led a team to visit Hangzhou city

It was reported that Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City led a team to visit Hangzhou city. Qu emphasized that it was purposely to learn more advanced experience and innovative ideas from Hangzhou city and then improve the development of Chenzhou city.

Hangzhou city is full of amazing sceneries in mid-summer.

Qu Hai and his team members visited some representative small towns, villages, and sub-districts of Hangzhou city during their trip.

Yunxi small town which is the first cloud computing industry ecological small town with the technological feature is assisting Hangzhou city with the improvement of smart city. Tonglu county which is honored as “the most beautiful county of China” livable gathering place of service industries. The guesthouse industry is being improved rapidly in Huanxi village of Tonglu county where is being promoted by Party construction. In Dipu village of Tonglu county, the barns were transformed to be coffee shops and some ancient buildings and villages were upgraded to be beautiful sceneries. Dream small town has become the most energetic entrepreneurship place and innovative capitals cluster. Sixinfang street is a “sampling project” of renovation of historic street. Qianjiang new city has been improved to be the new and high level economic and cultural center in last ten years.

During the investigation, Qu Hai emphasized that the Hangzhou city’s experiences should be well studied. Concerned for the improvement of small town, more attention should be placed on quality and feature by highlighting the development tenet of “characteristic, small, elegant, energetic, concentrated” and following the operation model of “being guided by government, with entities of enterprises, operated by market, and supported by industry”. Concerned for the improvement of beautiful village and development of rural tourism, the tenet of improving development on the basis of protection should be followed, avoiding large scale demolishing and construction, but integrating some modern elements in the original and ancient favors. In the meantime, the infrastructures on sewage treatment, disposal of domestic garbage, and etc. should be further improved to grant the rural area with sound environment, and then attract more visitors to stay there longer. “Five development ideas” should be well implemented to improve the integration of production and city and popular tourism. The infrastructures and elaborate management level of urban area should be upgraded as well to upgrade the city level.

Qu Hai emphasized that Hangzhou experience should be well studied to provide strong support and sound policies for the enterprises and people. Furthermore, the resources and data of different departments should be integrated and shared via cloud computing to upgrade the administration efficiency and grant people with more convenient services.
