It was reported that Domestic Wastewater Treatment Plant project of the counties around Zixing city was placed to construction in the end of this June. It is the first launching project of Dongjiang ecological environment protection and comprehensive utilization which loaned by Asian Development Bank.

It was introduced that this project is aimed to protect the water resource of Dongjiang Lake and improve living condition of people living near the water reservoir. The total budget of this project is about 30million yuan which would be mainly used on the construction of domestic wastewater treatment and supporting sewage collection pipe net of Qingjiang ,Chukou, Huangcao, Bailang, Bamianshan, and etc. It was planned to be finished in one year. Followed the tenets of open, fair, and just, and the specified processes listed by Asian Development Bank, Hunan Wangxin Construction Group won the bid. After signing the construction contract and communicating the technology details, the construction team was approved to handle the construction work.

Once the project finished, the area surround by Dongjiang Lake can be fully facilitated with the sewage collection system.
