It was learned from Chenzhou Statistic Bureau that the scale service industry of Chenzhou city was being improved well with sound increase in the first 5 months. The total revenues of the scale service industry and other for-profit service industries were amounted to 7.38billion yuan and 4.17billion yuan respectively, up 25% and 25.6% which were 7.4% and 10.2% faster than the first two months. The increasing rate for the revenue of other for-profit service industries was 2.4% higher than Hunan provincial average level.

From the beginning of this year, Chenzhou city kept promoting commercial system reform and other revolution measures concerned for the enterprises' development, "4-year action for the development of Chenzhou city's service industry", tourism economy, exhibition economy, cultivation of e-commerce, and expansion of industrial chain, which added more power for the development of scale industry. The renting and commercial service industry which was mainly driven by CMGS and other events was with an increase of 32.3%, while the culture, sports, and entertainment industry which was mainly driven by cultural and sports events was with an increase of 34.3%.

In the meantime, the sales tax was kept being increased that the total taxes payment of scale industry was amounted to 7.987 million, up 21.9%. Culture, sports and entertainment industry, health and social work, and education industry were being improved faster with the increasing rate of over 45%.

The profits completed and gained by scale service industry in the first 5 months were with the increase of 18.3% and 20.9%, 9.0% and 10.8% higher than the first two months. The salary of employees was being increased as well that the total salaries paid by enterprises of above scale service industry were amounted to 620million yuan, up 18.7%.
