Chenzhou Civil Airport to be Approved

It would be tried to be launched in 2017

 

It was learned from Chenzhou Development and Reform Commission that the State Council and the Central Military Commission’s official reply ( the States’ file (2016) No. 150) which was concerned for the approval of Chenzhou city’s civil airport was released officially. It indicated that the construction of Chenzhou city’s civil airport was being improved to a new stage.

 

According to the official reply, it is a domestic regional airport which is located near Xiaobu village and Tashui village of Huatang town, Beihu district, Chenzhou city. Its construction scale is as follow: 4C level flight zone facilitated with a 2600meters long runway; the terminal areas would be designed on the basis of capacity of 0.55million visitors and 3000tons cargos till 2025, which would be facilitated with 6000square meters terminal stations and 6 apron seats; and other supporting facilities as communications, navigation, meteorology, fuel feeding, firefighting, and etc. would be constructed there as well.

 

As stated on the official reply, the total investment for this project is 1.826billion yuan. Once built, it would be operated by regional government and administrated by the Civil Aviation Administration.

 

Deng Zhefeng who is the Director of Foundation Industrial Department of Chenzhou Development and Reform Commission said to the reporters: Chenzhou city would set up the airport construction headquarter in soonest time after receiving the approval file. In the meantime, the feasibility study report concerned for the airport would be promoted rapidly. It was aimed to launch the construction early 2017.
