It was reported that the scheduling conference for the transportation projects of Chenzhou City was held on Oct.10, 2016. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City emphasized that great efforts should be tried to fulfill annual targets and improve Chenzhou City to be comprehensive transportation hub.

About 7billion yuan was invested by Chenzhou City on the transportation projects in this year, 4.523billion yuan of which was done in the first nine months, accounting for 65% of the annual plan. The principals of relative subordinate departments and counties made declaration on their transportation work at the meeting.

After listening to the speeches, Qu Hai stated that the transportation projects were much concerned about the improvement of comprehensive transportation system, effective investment, poverty alleviation, and transportation infrastructures, so all departments should try all efforts to fulfill the targets; should follow the strategic arrangements figured out by the department to improve Chenzhou City to be regional comprehensive transportation hub by seizing strategic chances; should keep optimizing the transportation network, especially the improvement of rural highways and tourism highways on the basis of popular tourism, industrial development, and beautiful rural construction; should follow Hunan Provincial Government’s requirements to get the waterway of Chenzhou section of Leishui River through and improve the development of ecological tourism industry; should seize the chance of low industrial pilot to improve the construction of airport and relative industries; and should take active actions to promote the construction or railway hub, especially the preparatory work of Jiangxi-Chenzhou Yongxing Railway project. All of those were purposely to provide sound transportation support for Chenzhou City’s improvement to be new increasing pole of Hunan Province.

Qu also required that all the construction work should be speed up. The problems such as capitals, construction team, lands, environment, and etc. should be solved one by one on the basis of sound analysis; special staffs should be assigned to handle preparatory work of transportation projects of next year; intensified supervision work should be handled out accordingly; and working condition and services should be optimized. The leaders should investigate the construction site to check the problems hindered on the way of the development of projects and help to solve the problems asap by coordinating with upper level departments.
