A counselling conference of “Social Science Experts Group’s Trip to Chenzhou City” which was organized by Hunan Social Science Association was held in Chenzhou City recently. Song Zhifu who is the Secretary of Party Group and Vice President of Hunan Social Science Association hosted the conference. It was introduced that there would be 5 trips organized by Hunan Social Science Association in 2016. Some social experts will be gathered together to share their ideas on improving social and economic development problems faced by grassroots governments.

Li Xiahui- President of City Exhibition Alliance of Pan-Pearl River Delta and President of Guangzhou Exhibition Industry Association, and Wang Peiliang- Professor of Hunan Commercial Institute presented theme speeches concerned about development of exhibition industry on the conference. Both experts illustrated it from different aspects as background and potential advantages of Chenzhou exhibition economy, innovative ideas and projects for Chenzhou City’s improvement of international exhibition city, and etc. Principals of subordinate departments and enterprises attended the conference and shared their ideas with the experts.

Yi Pengfei sincerely appreciated the experts’ comments and suggestions on improving Chenzhou City’s exhibition economy. He asked relative departments to study those comments and suggestions and apply them to practices, then improve exhibition economy of Chenzhou City to be better and sustainable.

Exhibition economy should be transferred to be the dynamic of Chenzhou City’s social and economic development. More attention should be placed on its practical effects. The decisive role of the market on resource allocation should be well played. Market operation should be applied to it and enterprises’ supporting role should be enhanced as well. Exhibition economy and mineral gem industry should be upgraded. More investment attraction work should be handled to improve the sustainable development.

Qu Hai stated on his speech that Chenzhou City is trying best on improving industrial transformation, cultivating new increasing points, and promoting exhibition development on the basis of transformation development. It will study the comments and suggestions presented by the experts to improve infrastructure condition, attract more talents, promote the establishment of “great exhibition” pattern, drive relative industries’ development, improve the integration of exhibition and tourism, culture, sports, and agriculture industries, and improve new increasing pole of Hunan Province.

Tang Jianjun- Member of Party Group and Vice President of Hunan Social Science Association, Wang Minggao- Member of Standing Committee of Hunan Social Science Association and Vice President of Hunan Commercial Institute, some members of the experts group, and some municipal leaders of Chenzhou City attended relative activities.
