Zhang Jianfei announced the launching of projects, Yi Pengfei addressed toasts on site, and Qu Hai hosted the ceremony

On November 11, 2016, series major projects of Chenzhou City were launched together.　Zhang Jianfei- Vice Governor of Hunan Province attended the launching ceremony and announced the opening of projects. Yi Pengfei- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee addressed a toast on site. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City hosted the ceremony.

Beihu Airport Avenue and Airport and test section of the airport were launched on Tashui Village, Huatang Town, Beihu District on that day, which indicated that Beihu Airport project was lunched officially. According to “the State Council and Central Military Commission’s consent on the construction of civil airport in Chenzhou City, Hunan Province”, Beihu Airport is a domestic regional airport, covering 2895mu lands and 1.826billion yuan investment. It was planned to be placed to operation in 2019. The 2080meters long Beihu Airport Avenue is the infrastructure supporting project of Beihu Airport, covering 220million yuan investment.

In the meantime, a graphite flotation project with the annual production capacity of 200,000tons was launched in Lengshui Village, Lutang Town, Beihu District. This project which belongs to China Construction Material Southern Graphite Company covers with 180mu lands and 500million yuan investments. It was estimated to be placed to operation in the end of 2017. Chenzhou Qibin Photovoltaic Glass project which covers with 2billion yuan investment and 600mu lands was launched in Zixing Ziwu Industrial Park as well. The first phase of it was estimated to be finished within 12 months.

Yi Pengfei sincerely congratulated the opening of the projects on behalf of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government. Yi stated that projects construction is the “ox muzzle” of economic development. Promoting project means promoting the investment, well-being, development, and the implementation of structural reform in supply front under the New Normal of economic development. In recent years, followed the allocation of Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Hunan Government, Chenzhou City tried great efforts on implementing the general strategy of “keeping leading role of industry, improving overall development”, and promoting “four-year action”. The development of major projects was being promoted greatly in Chenzhou City, which helped to improve the sound social and economic development of Chenzhou City.

Yi Pengfei said Beihu Airport Avenue and Airport and test section of the airport，graphite flotation project with the annual production capacity of 200,000tons of China Construction Material Southern Graphite Company, and Chenzhou Qibin Photovoltaic Glass project are significant projects concerned for the long term development of Chenzhou City. Once the three projects finished, they would play great roles on improving the opening economy and regional core competitiveness of Chenzhou City, as well as promoting its industrial transformation and upgrading and supporting its development of “New Chenzhou” and establishment of “new increasing pole of Hunan Province”.

Yi Pengfei emphasized that all the departments especially the ones where three projects located should try best to serve for the projects, help to solve the problems hindered on the further development of projects, and provide sound construction condition for them. The owners and construction departments of the projects should keep the concept of quality first to handle the construction work.

Some leaders from Hunan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Hunan Economy and Information Commission, and some Chenzhou municipal leaders- Zhang Ai Guo and He Jianxiang, and Chen Rongwei who is the Secretary General of Chenzhou Government attended relative activities.
