The Linglong tea base in Maping, Qiaotou Town, Guidong County

It was learned from Guidong Linglongwang Tea Development Co., Ltd. that Linglong Green Tea which was submitted to 1st “Xiaoxiang Cup” Hunan Famous Tea Contest was awarded with the golden prize.

In order to improve the standardized, scaled, mechanized, qualified, and branded production of tea, and upgrade the competitiveness of Hunan provincial brand tea, Hunan Tea Study Society, Hunan Tea Association, Hunan Great Xiangxi Tea Industrial Development and Promotion Association, and other departments work together to organize this contest event. 11 authorized tea experts were invited to review 109 kinds of tea samples submitted by different counties and cities. All the results were notarized by Changsha Notarization Office. Linglong Green Tea, Zhangjiajie Laurel Maojian, and etc. were awarded with golden prize.

It was introduced that there are over 60,000mu tea parks available in Guidong County. More than 20,000 people were afforded by the tea industry. The total annual output value of its tea industry was estimated to be over 300million yuan.
