At 9:00 on January 13, the Fifth Session of the Eleventh Hunan Provincial Committee of CPPCC was solemnly opened in Hunan Province People's Hall. Chenzhou CPPCC organized the cadres and some of the CPPCC members to watch the opening ceremony live.

During the live, the Chairman of Hunan Provincial CPPCC Li Weiwei reported on the work on behalf of the provincial CPPCC Standing Committee. The report comprehensively summarized that in the past, the CPPCC of Hunan Province firmly upheld the authority of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core.
