On February 27, the reporter learned from the Municipal Civilization Office that the list of the 2016 civilized cities, civilized villages and towns, civilized industry, civilized units and civilized model units in Hunan Province was published. Chenzhou City had a total of 23 candidates for the province's civilized cities（cities and counties）and Zixing City, Guidong County and Anren County were chosen in the list of province's civilized counties.

According to the publicity list, the Sanhe Village Huatang Town North Lake District, Heping Village Feitianshan Town Suxian District and a total of 8 villages and towns were chosen as the civilized villages and towns. Chenzhou Municipal Committee Office, Chenzhou Municipal Committee Organization Department, Chenzhou Municipal Committee Propaganda Department and a total of 40 units were chosen as the civilized units. Chenzhou Municipal CPPCC Organs, Hunan Xiasheng Industry Company and a total of 9 units were chosen as the civilized model units.

According to the provisions, the civilized cities, civilized villages and towns, civilized industry, civilized units and civilized model units are chosen once every two years and on even days. During the evaluation process, the county and city units that meet the criteria for selection should declare their own and after the examination at all levels, the proposed list should be made by the Provincial Civilization Office and submitted to the Provincial Civilization Committee for consideration. After the adoption of the review, the proposed list should be published in the main news media of province for 7 days, listening to the views of the community and accepting the broad masses of supervision.
