On August 25, Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Committee and Mayor Liu Zhiren led the team to carry out investment investigation in Guangzhou City and made a special trip to the Guangzhou Nansha New District.

Nansha New District is the key position of Guangdong Free Trade Zone and leading area of China's open economy.

Liu Zhiren investigated the good experience and practice of the Nansha New District in the reforms to delegate power, streamline administration and optimize government services, government affairs, urban planning, system innovation, free trade area construction, park construction, export-oriented economic development, cross-border e-commerce and other aspects through on-site visits, forums, exchanges, watching text and video information and met with the Standing Committee of Guangzhou Municipal Committee, Party Secretary of Nansha Development Zone (Free Trade Area Nansha Area), CMC Director, Secretary of Nansha District Party committee Cai Chaolin, Deputy Secretary General of Guangzhou Municipal Committee Diao Ailin, and responsible person of Guangzhou units and Nansha New District.

At the forum, the team members and related personnel of Guangzhou carried out the docking on the project cooperation, information sharing, work contact and so on and cleared the next cooperation focus on the basis of reaching an intention.

Liu Zhiren introduced the advantages of Chenzhou as a humanistic resort, resources treasure, transportation, rehabilitation and retirement places and open highland. Liu Zhiren said as the "South Gate" of Hunan and leading position of docking with Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao bay area, Chenzhou has always regarded Guangzhou as the learning benchmark and striving direction. Guangzhou Nansha New District was at the leading edge of China's opening up and took the lead in the open economy, ecological protection, urban construction and other aspects, creating many experiences and practices which are worth popularizing and using for reference.

Liu Zhiren said Chenzhou investment investigation team must take the good experience good practice of Nansha New District to promote industrial restructuring and upgrading in Chenzhou, government quality improvement and efficiency, open economic development and Hunan free trade zone (Chenzhou area) declaration construction. He hoped Guangzhou, Nansha New District and Chenzhou would deepen cooperation, exchange information, share resource and cooperate to jointly promote the transformation of production, study and research, import and export trade, and open economic development in the future. Chenzhou, concentrated efforts on building the loyal, legal, working, efficient and honest government will embrace the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao bay area with ecological advantages and welcome more guests to invest and inspect in Guangzhou with the best government environment and business environment.

Entrusted by the Deputy Secretary of Guangzhou Municipal Committee and Mayor Wen Guohui, Diao Ailin on behalf of the Guangzhou municipal government welcomed the arrival of Liu Zhiren and his delegation. Diao Ailin said Guangzhou and Chenzhou are geographically close and have achieved mutual benefit and development in the years of cooperation. He hoped Guangzhou and Chenzhou would strengthen the reference and exchanges in more areas to achieve mutual benefit.
