Accompanied by Chen Wei, President of Hunan Non Ferrous Metal Research Institute and other experts, the Umicore investigation group visited the Yongxing economic development zone with precious metals as the first leading industry in Hunan Province and visited the Xiongfeng, Rongpeng, Zhongde, Xingguang and other companies in the park. They listened to the report on the precious metal industry development in Yongxing County and conducted the discussion and exchange with the precious metals enterprises and industry associations. Umicore investigation group gave a high opinion for the infrastructure, investment environment and industrial development situation of Yongxing Park. Yongxing County, known as the "China Silver", has won the 2nd batch of national circular economy pilot units, the 3rd batch of national "urban mineral" demonstration base, the national rare and precious metal recycling industrial base, the national sustainable development experimental area and other gold signs, the county average annual production of 2,100 tons of silver, 6.3 tons of gold and more than 180,000 tons of other non-ferrous metals.
