On September 5, Hunan Nonferrous Metal Admistration Party Secretary and Director Tang Yong and his entourage investigated the nonferrous metals industry in Chenzhou to comprehensively understand the production and management and technological innovation of Chenzhou nonferrous metals enterprises.

Tang Yong and his entourage visited the Minmetals Shizhuyuan Company Dongboduo Metal Concentrator, Chenzhou Mineral Gem Museum and Chenzhou Stone Park to understand in detail about the production and operation of Chenzhou nonferrous metals enterprises.

It was understood that the output value of city's nonferrous metal industry hit 101.6 billion yuan in 2013, becoming the first industry breakthrough one hundred billion yuan in Chenzhou. There were 184 nonferrous metals enterprises in the whole city (75 mining enterprises and 109 smelting enterprises), of which 22 enterprises with over 1 billion of output value, 5 enterprises with 3 billion yuan of output value and 1 enterprise with 5 billion yuan of output value; the output of 10 kinds of nonferrous metals was 782,000 tons in the whole city, accounting for 34.5% of the province; the output value of 105.1 billion yuan of nonferrous metal industry was completed, accounting for 32.8% of the city's designated size industry; the total tax and profit hit 5.02 billion yuan, accounting for 19% of the city's designated size industry.

Tang Yong and his entourage have fully affirmed the achievements of the nonferrous metal industry in Chenzhou. He said that Chenzhou is rich in precious stones and mineral crystal resources, and the unique geological conditions have created tremendous development potential and economic benefits for the nonferrous metal industry. He hoped that Chenzhou City could rely on the existing resources, mine fair and other advantages to further consolidate the nonferrous metal industry and strive for new breakthroughs in scientific and technological innovation, circular economy and the development of nonferrous metal culture.

At the same time, he hoped that the two sides could further deepen cooperation, enlarge areas of cooperation and enhance the level of cooperation on the basis of good cooperation to promote Chenzhou to become the vanguard of the transformation and upgrading of Hunan nonferrous industry.
