The reporter asked that how to consider the Chenzhou opening up to south, as an inland city.

 

Liu Zhiren said that Chenzhou as an inland city, is in the period of development and transformation, the breakthrough period of reform, the key period of well-off life and the crucial stage of poverty alleviation, and faces multiple tasks of developing industry, strengthening entities, improving quality and increasing effectiveness. Faced with new challenges, new opportunities and new tasks, it is a strategic consideration and a choice of development path to put forward the brand of "opening up to south".

 

Liu Zhiren said the opening up of Chenzhou is an inevitable choice conforming to the development of the times. In the 5th National Party Congress of Chenzhou, the "five Chenzhou" goals of building power, opening, innovation, ecology and humanism have been clearly put forward to put opening up in an important position; is a realistic need to establish Chenzhou brand. An important aspect of Chenzhou is the comprehensive docking with the world's top 500, the domestic's top 500, top 500 private enterprises and top 10 global nonferrous metals enterprises. At the same time, the government work report clearly put forward to implement the "Chenzhou goods online" project and constantly deepened the cooperation with Ali, Jingdong and other enterprises this year; is the key measure to complete the development weak. We only attract investment, skills and talent, and develop an open economy to enhance the endogenous dynamism and vitality of Chenzhou's development; is the urgent need of the masse. To improve the happiness index and sense of gain, the masses must improve people's livelihood and adhere to the spirit of "openness, inclusiveness, pragmatism and innovation" in Chenzhou.

 

As the "South Gate" of Hunan, Chenzhou is adjacent to Guangdong Province. The reporter asked whether there were any communication, exchanges and cooperation between Chenzhou and Guangdong?

 

Liu Zhiren said that Chenzhou and Guangdong have communication, exchanges and cooperation, mainly to complete the disadvantages and make use of advantages. In order to make Chenzhou a good place for people to enjoy leisure, travel, vacation and health care in Guangdong, Chenzhou has stepped up its efforts to develop eco-tourism ecology. Secondly, Chenzhou should give full play to the advantages of land resources and ecological advantages to undertake industrial transfer. In addition, Chenzhou is also a base of agricultural supplies for Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, so that residents here can share pollution-free vegetables, fruits and other green products from Chenzhou.

 

Chenzhou has the "world nonferrous metals town", "Crystal City", "China Silver City" and other reputation. The reporter asked what are the plans and initiatives in accelerating the transformation and development of mining.

 

Liu Zhiren said that Chenzhou is a mining city and there are many kinds of tungsten, bismuth, tin, zinc and other non-ferrous metals, coal, graphite, fluorite, and all kinds of minerals, gems and stones resources. They are large in reserves and widely distributed. In this regard, we insisted on the transformation of the mining industry as the city's primary task of economic restructuring and development. We should promote the mining industry to the large-scale and intensive development, the high-end and green development, and the cluster and merge development.

 

Chenzhou is a permanent venue for the CMGS. It is a concern for journalists that how to brand the CMGS.

 

Liu Zhiren said that this year's International Mineral and Gem Show is already the 5th session and the 6th session will be held next year. In this process, we continued to sum up experience and improved the show. Chenzhou is the "mineral capital" and "nonferrous metal museum". To make the CMGS brand in the international, it is necessary to give full play to the advantages of fluorite, jades and other minerals, and promote the internationalization, specialization, standardization, marketization and industrialization of the show to improve the quality of CMGS.
