South African Delegation Visit Chenzhou

On September 23, Governor of South Africa's North Cape Province Lucas led a delegation to visit Chenzhou and further improved friendship, deepened cooperation, and achieved mutual benefit.

 

On the exchange forum, Chenzhou Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor Jiang Feng on behalf of the municipal committee and government welcomed the arrival of Lucas and his party. He said that Chenzhou and South Africa had a relatively close history in 2003. Chenzhou set up an office in South Africa and established very deep friendship through frequent economic and cultural exchanges. On September 23 last year, Chenzhou and Kimberley, the capital of North Cape Province became sister cities and created a new era of cooperation. South Africa is one of Chenzhou's major international trading partners, and both sides have relatively rich mineral resources and broad prospects for cooperation. He hoped that both sides can complement each other, deepen cooperation and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results in mineral exploitation, intensive processing, culture, education, exhibition industry and other fields.

 

Lucas said that the Northern Cape Province and Chenzhou have been friends and will become old friends through this exchange. She said that the development prospects are very broad and hoped that more friends could invest to the economic development of the North Cape and Chenzhou through this exchange and visiting.

 

Lucas and his party also visited the Suxianling Scenic Spot, High-tech Zone, Chenzhou International Mineral Gem Expo Co., Ltd. and Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center.
