Recently, the Industrial Energy Saving & Alternative Promotion Activities jointly hosted by Jiahe County Government and State Grid Chenzhou Power Supply Company was held in Tantang Industry Park of Jiahe County.

The activities took the "Electric energy replacement to promote industrial energy saving, industrial upgrading to build green city" as the theme and the provincial, city and county leaders, representatives of power supply company, 10 township representatives in Jiahe County and 11 business representatives, media total and more than 70 people were invited to attend.

It was reported that there are nearly 300 casting enterprises in Jiahe County and Tantang Industrial Park is the only provincial industrial park with foundry industry in the country, a total of 37 casting enterprises, which all have completed the inform work of electric energy replacement. The electric energy replacement went into the industrial park with a "new face" on September 11, 2015 and the first batch of 10 foundry collective contract was completed under the witness of Jiahe County Government and Chenzhou companies to open the new model of industry energy saving and electric energy replacement in Jiahe County. In more than two years time, a total of 55 foundry enterprises in the 5 parks of Jiahe County have completed the "coal to electricity" with the "cupola" removed, a total of 62,000 tons of standard coal saving, and 150,000 tons of carbon dioxide, 4560 tons of sulfur dioxide, 2325 tons of nitrogen oxide and 42,000 tons of carbon dust emissions reducing, so that blue sky and white clouds reappeared over the park. At the same time, the power grid company has increased the efficiency and the electricity consumption in Jiahe County has reached 334 million kwh, an increase of 22.84% as of July this year, among them, the "coal to electricity" contribution accounted for 70%. The annual production capacity of the casting enterprises has increased by 18% with significant efficiency and the product qualification rate has increased from 75% to 95%, business income doubled.

Hunan Energy Bureau congratulated the construction of the Tantang Green Industrial Park in Jiahe County and pointed out that the electric energy replacement project could walk in the first place with the accelerating rate because of the high reorganization and conscious practice of the local government, power supply enterprises and park enterprises on the "green development". The electric energy replacement project in Tantang Industrial Park has become the electric energy replacement demonstration sites in Hunan Province after 2 years of fermentation and tempering, whose business model and work style can be promoted as an advanced practice and typical experience in the whole province. We should encourage the parties to further form a joint force, seize the opportunity and market, and expand the coverage of electric energy replacement to make more enterprises enjoying the "green development".

At the meeting, the participants visited the reform achievement on electric energy replacement in Tantang Industrial Park, and Jiahe County Deputy Magistrate Guo Qingfeng and Chenzhou Power Supply Company representatives signed the "green city" construction power supply security framework agreement at the scene to realize the green development mutually.
