The rice in the Dahan Village Linwu County is connected to a golden ocean. Two sets of modern harvesters worked continuously and it cost less than half an hour to finish the harvesting, bagging and loading for more than one mu of rice field. Deng Xiangfen, Chairman of Xiangfen Agricultural Machinery Cooperative said to authors that his cooperative has invested several hundreds of thousands of yuan to buy the four-wheel tractor rice harvester and other 14 sets of agricultural equipment in recent years, and has planted more than 1700 mu of rice on these equipment. The rice product is expected to reach 1million kilograms, 85 thousand kilograms more than last year and the net income is expected to reach 600 thousand yuan. 25 agricultural grain cooperatives have registered in Linwu County till now.

It was understood that the agricultural machinery has become a major force in Linwu County agricultural production. At present, the total power of agricultural machinery in the county reaches 361 thousand kilowatts with 3071 sets of license agricultural machinery, including 2879 road transport type and large and medium sized tractors, 51 combine harvesters and 86 rotary cultivators. The agricultural machinery listing rate, annual examination rate and the driver's license rate are above 96.87% and the comprehensive level of agricultural mechanization reaches 61%. From 2014 to 2016, the county has completed 12.06941 million yuan of subsidy fund for purchase of agricultural machinery and 8728 sets of subsidy equipment, benefiting 3071 farmers.

In recent years, Linwu County won the national modern agriculture demonstration area, the pilot county of the national science and technology "Rich and strong county", the province's agricultural production target management advanced unit, the province's agricultural mechanization technology advanced units and other honors.

In order to let people understand the agricultural machinery benefit policies, Linwu County took full advantage of the annual inspection, safety inspection, science and technology to the countryside and other activities. The staff went to the markets, the first line of agricultural production and agricultural cooperatives operating fields to extensively publicize the new equipment, new technology and knowledge of agricultural mechanization.
