On the afternoon of November 27th, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor Liu Zhiren scheduled the construction of the airport project. Liu Zhiren stressed to carry out and implement a series of major policies and measures for steady growth of Provincial Committee and provincial government, accelerate the construction of the airport project, break through the bottleneck and promote the project at full speed to ensure the completion of objectives and tasks.

At the meeting, the leaders of the relevant departments reported on the progress of the Beihu airport and the Feitianshan general airport, and put forward the existing problems and difficulties.

Liu Zhiren required that the design of the airport project should be refined in appearance, color, humanized design, green ecological concept and so on, and combined with the characteristics and culture of Chenzhou to form a modular design. The design concept should be integrated into the humanized design, the ecological green environment, the characteristics of Chenzhou and the micro construction, and the operation of the terminal, the business process, the operating cost, the safety specification and so on should be strictly controlled. The one-time planning and construction of non-stop flight should be clear in the bidding.

Liu Zhiren required that the overall goal of the airport project should be clear and the constructor should invert the schedule in accordance with the target time. The overall plan of the Beihu airport project should be completed by December 10th this year, the first trial should be approved before the end of this year, the start time should be before the middle of March 2018, and the terminal building should start up before June. The Feitianshan general airport should start up in March 2018. The airport road should open before the end of December 2017 to ensure the progress of airport construction. All departments at all levels should focus on the goal, speed up formalities, plan and design according to the standard of the international airport, and control the investment objectives to ensure the safety and quality standards.

Liu stressed that the Municipal Government Supervision Office should adhere to the problem orientation, list the problems, clear the responsible person and units, and fulfill all the tasks; should strengthen the measures and strengthen the scheduling to promote the project construction; should carry out supervision according to the list of target liability; should strengthen security to guarantee the formalities, land, funds, personnel and so on; should strengthen the punishment and take effective measures to mobilize the enthusiasm of staff to build excellent project and build a clean government project.
