On the afternoon of December 1st, Party Secretary and Director of the Standing Committee of Municipal People's Congress Yi Pengfei presided over the Scheduling meeting of calcium carbonate industry development in our city. Yi Pengfei pointed out that we should adhere to the rational development, green development and sustainable development to build high quality and efficiency industry, and make the calcium carbonate industry a new growth point in the development of Chenzhou industry.

The meeting firstly listened to the development situation of calcium carbonate industry in Linwu County. Calcium carbonate is commonly known as limestone, widely used in papermaking, plastics, coatings, food and drug etc, and the calcium carbonate industry is known as the sunrise industry for sustainable development. Our city has large reserves of calcium carbonate resources, among them the calcium carbonate reserves of 1billion tons and 5 calcium carbonate enterprises in Linwu County. At present, Linwu County has drafted the five year action plan for developing the calcium carbonate industry and done the preliminary work of calcium carbonate industry park planning.

After listening to the speeches, Yi Pengfei pointed out that in the process of promoting the calcium carbonate industry development, we must take the spirit of the 19th National Congress as a guide, focus on the requirements of high quality development, adhere to the rational development, green development and sustainable development, and strive to build high quality and efficiency industry; must carry out the spirit of the 19th National Congress, implement the "five in one" overall layout, practice the concept of "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", resolutely prevent short - sighted actions, never do extensive development and plundering development, think carefully, study deeply, and plan professionally to promote the orderly development of calcium carbonate industry, improve the quality of the industry and industrial ecology, and improve the economic, social and ecological benefits of the industry.
