On the evening of December 5th, the city's informatization leading group meeting was held to discuss and study the final plan on the "General planning for smart Chenzhou (2017 - 2022)" and studied the housing problem of the "Smart city" cloud computing center and other issues. The Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor Liu Zhiren required clearing the annual objectives, further refining the task and plan and promoting steadily to build effective "Smart Chenzhou".

Smart city is a new concept and new mode to promote urban planning, construction, management and service through using the Internet, cloud computing, big data and geographic information integration and other new generation of information technology.

Liu Zhiren pointed out that the "Smart Chenzhou" construction is a systematic project with great professionalism, wide coverage and great influence. We should integrate to avoid duplication; should share to further public the information and data; should make the Internet work to benefit the people; should have goals and benchmarks to further improve the efficiency, save investment and drive industry.

Liu Zhiren required that we should figure out what the platform is built, what to upgrade and what not to build, and integrate the platform to form compatible sharing; should do well in infrastructure, especially the construction of network, cloud computing and so on; should strengthen the responsibility and each unit should sign the responsibility.

Liu Zhiren required that we should conscientiously implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress and General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of important speeches, implement the new development concept, promote the construction of the modern economic system in our city, and speed up the Internet information platform construction to benefit Chenzhou people; should attach great importance to, promote steadily, and implement the project as a "number one" project; should work together and cooperate with each other from the height of politics to form a joint force; should integrate the resource and share information to improve efficiency; should break the core technology, ensure reliability problems and handle the relationship between the Internet and security to promote collaboration between networks and modules; should do the top-level design to build "Smart Chenzhou"; should combine the reality of Chenzhou, highlight key points, promote innovation, improve the administrative capacity and the level of city management through the construction of "Smart Chenzhou", promote the combination of industry and city and guide the high quality development of the industry to further improve the people's sense of gain and happiness and meet the needs of the people for a better life.
