Mangshan Reservoir - National major water conservancy project in construction

As of now, the main dam RCC has poured to 329 meters and the height of the dam has reached 37.5 meters (including 10 meters of cogging), completed 180 thousand cubic meters of concrete dam. The consolidation grouting and anchor pile construction of 6#, 8# and 9# main dams has completed and the rest of subsidiary project are progressing well. It was understood that Mangshan Reservoir is the only large reservoir in the Hunan area of the Pearl River Basin, which will be used mainly for flood control, irrigation, urban water supply and power generation to raise the flood control standards of the middle and lower reaches of the Changle River to 10 years or 20 years.
